What is Magic(k)?

Some people choose to spell magic with a "k" or a "ck" (or even a "j"!) to distinguish it from stage magic.

Commentary:

Magick involves using natural forces to effect willed changes in our own percpetions or consciousness, but to what goal?

According to Stewart Farrar, "The stage-by-stage developments of the entire human being is the whole aim of maigc."

According to Marion Weinstein, "Magick can help get your entire life in harmony - mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually, and psychically. What is the ultimate purpose? To fulfill the self on an even higher level. To transform, uplife, and so fully develop the self that the whoe Universe may benefit thereby."

How does magic(k) work?

Simply put, magic(k) works by sending energy and thoughs into the Invisible/Unseen Realms (through the use of various ritual techniques) for a particular purpose or goal AND then following up in the physical realm by making a spot and doing the work so the goal can manifest.
