The Society of Elder Faiths (SEF) is a Pagan religious organization
incorporated as a church under the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The
SEF was founded by elders of five Wiccan covens in order to provide services to
the local Pagan community which require a larger scale, more formal organizational
structure than our individual covens can comfortably offer. The SEF exists to worship
the Goddess and the Old Gods, to teach the principles of our faith, to celebrate
the rites of our religion, to realize fellowship and unity within our membership
and among the elder faiths, to render loving service to the Earth and all Her inhabitants,
to train and ordain clergy of our faith, and to promote the understanding of our
faith.
EarthSpirit Community was founded in 1980, with the goal of helping
to create an active Pagan community in New England. This having been achieved, EarthSpirit
has turned its primary focus toward work to help develop Pagan concepts and attitudes
for living in the present age, to encourage communication and understanding among
people of different traditions and ideologies, to provide opportunities for shared
spiritual experience, and to help educate the general public concerning Earth-centered
spirituality.
Covenant
of the Goddess was founded in 1975 to increase cooperation among Witches
and to secure for Witches and covens the legal protection enjoyed by members of
other religions. The Covenant publishes a newsletter; issues ministerial credentials
on request to qualified persons; sponsors a national festival each summer; and encourages
networking nationally, as well as regionally through local councils.
The Temple of Nine Wells - ATC is a public Wiccan congregation currently
administrated by Rev. Richard Ravish, H.P & Rev. Amy 'Gypsy' Ravish, H.Ps. The TNW
was founded in 1992 e.v. by Rev. Laurie Cabot, now H.Ps. Emeritas, as a focus for
worship and to facilitate a multi-traditional practice of the religion of Witchcraft
in order to best serve the spiritual needs of the growing Wiccan community in Salem,
Massachussetts. As a chartered affiliate of The Aquarian Tabernacle Church, we welcome
all to our rites who share the common goal of celebrating the ancient nature festivals
and commemorating the sacred cycles and seasons of life, as did our spiritual ancestors
in Northern Europe and the British Isles.
The Aquarian Tabernacle Church the "ATC," or sometimes just "The Tab"
is the creation of Pete Pathfinder Davis, who serves as Archpriest along with Deborah
K. Hudson, who is Archpriestess of the tradition worldwide. ATC is based on English
Traditional Wicca, with a focus of serving the larger Pagan communities by providing
open worship opportunities to the public, education, interfaith liaison, and in
general, providing the infrastructure available to the followers of most faiths,
but previously just not available to Wiccans and Pagans. Things like major Sabbat
festivals, full and new moon worship, a place to gather, a lending library, and
many other services associated with faith communities.
- Witches’ Sabbats by Mike Nichols - Mike Nichols is the celebrated
author of The Witches' Sabbats--the ultimate resource on Pagan holidays and related
writings. He does extensive online teaching and writing, occasionally guest lectures
at Pagan festivals, and performs in a Pagan band called Spellbound. Mike has been
a featured speaker on National Public Radio, Spiral Dance Radio, and Eclectic Pagan
Podcast on iTunes.
- Strega – Italian Craft We have compiled a variety of articles on
the very diverse and beautiful paths that are derived from the Italian Craft practices.
Many of these articles are written by Toni/Mary Santangelo who is a well know "net
personality". She runs her own website as well as a Yahoo! Group dedicated
to the study and discussion of the Italian Ways. Other articles are from a variety
of sources and authors and we note that where possible.
